Guinot steht seit über 30 Jahren im Dienste der Schönheit und in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Kosmetikerinnen.
1963 gründet der Chemieingenieur Rene Guinot die Laboratorien Guinot und entwickelt:
- die erste dauerhafte Kaltwachs-Anwendung
- die erste Apparatur, die zur Gesichtsbehandlung den Gleichstrom verwendet - Hydradermie
1972 übernahm Jean Daniel Mondin die Leitung des Guinot-Unternehmens. Schrittweise verbesserte er die Hydradermie-Behandlungen und entwickelte neu:
- Guinot Aromatic - Schönheitspflege mit Pflanzen
- Guinot Liftosome - Lifting Effekt
- Guinot Beaute Neuve - Double Peeling
1986 kam es zur Zusammenarbeit mit Prof. Raichvarg vom Pariser Cochin Hospital und ein neuer Cellulare Life Complex - ein essentieller Nährkomplex zur Bildung und Regeneration von Hautzellen - wurde entwickelt. Hieraus entstand eine Pflege deren Wirksamkeit aus ihrem außergewöhnlich nährenden Komplex nutzen zieht - Longue Vie.
2005 entsteht die N°1 Guinot-Pflege Age Logic. Sie trägt dazu bei, die "Logik der Zellalterung umzukehren".
Die Pflegmethoden und -formeln von Guinot entsprechen immer dem neuesten Stand der Wissenschaft. Nach dem Vorbild der medizinischen Pflege hat Guinot die Techniken der Kosmetikbehandlungen verbessert, damit die Glücksmomente noch intensiver und wirksamer werden.
